Rice & Glutathione Tone-Up Hydro gel mask

I ordered this set of masks because Glutathione may help brighten skin. It works by inhibiting tyrosinase, an enzyme that produces melanin, which can lead to a brighter and more even skin tone and help reduce dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

It also contains niacinamide which has worked well for me in previous skin creams. It's a form of vitamin B3, offering numerous skin benefits, including strengthening the skin barrier, reducing redness and inflammation, controlling oil production for acne-prone skin, and minimizing the appearance of pores, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation.

I was happy to find both of these powerful ingredients combined in one product.

I like wearing masks because it lets my skin absorb the product for a long time; in this case one to two hours. It gives it a deeper treatment than if I were just to rub product into my skin which disappears and is absorbed in a couple of minutes.

I found the mask comfortable enough to wear for just over an hour. It wasn't completely transparent by then, but I removed it and my skin was left feeling soft and glowing. When I have more free time, I will leave the mask on for longer.

I have sensitive skin, but this didn't cause any adverse reactions.

The price is a good value for four masks.

For people who like sheet masks, this is an awesome one with high quality ingredients that will be a 5 star product. For me it might be 4 stars, because I decided sheet masks are not my personal preference and I will stick with jar masks. Let me be fair though and explain my negatives.

This mask has a hydrogel, wet composition. It is soaked with high quality skincare serum. It felt pretty wet and slippery at first but dried off a bit and then felt like a regular gel mask. It gave me some sensory ick issues at first but didn't bother me as much once it settled down.

This comes with two pieces for the upper and lower face so you can customize the fit for different face shapes. I saved the cutouts for the eyes and mouth to use later as an undereye mask. You could also position the cutouts under the eye while wearing the mask because the eye holes are large. You can move the pieces a bit but the edges will tear if you don't handle the mask gingerly.

You are supposed to wear it at least a half hour but can wear it longer. Longer wear will likely enhance the treatment effects. I think it is a better value if you wear it longer, or even overnight, because the box only has 4 sheets.

I found it slightly uncomfortable for longer wear and I could only tolerate it for an hour. It is difficult to drink a beverage without a straw. It remains wet so you can't be very active when wearing it. But it is a deeply moisturizing experience if you can spare an hour or two to relax.

These hydrogel masks are awesome! They have ingredients formulated to brighten the skin and slightly fade dark spots. While I don't think using these will completely eliminate any dark spots, I do think they make my skin look and feel soft, smooth, and glowing. These are individually wrapped and I love the way they feel really cooling and soothing on my skin.
